Born in Ravenna in 1950, he moved to Florence at a young age. He began publishing comics in the magazine Il mago, later continuing to publish stories and strips that appeared in various publications during the 1980s and 1990s: from comic magazines like Il Grifo, Comix, and Lupo Alberto to current affairs newspapers such as Tutto and Musica, a weekly insert of La Repubblica, for which he created caricature portraits of famous singers.
