Very beautiful work titled 'The Book of Jade' by Judith Gautier and J. & R. Wittmann.
Year of publication 1933 at Éditions d’Histoire et d’Art, Librairie Plon, Paris.
Luxury edition with gilded top pages, marbled half-leather binding.
Robust and in good condition, with usage defects on the cover and a small missing corner at the top (all details are clearly visible in the photos).
Interior in very perfect condition.
Very beautiful illustrations, this work includes 7 superb full-page heliogravure plates, reproducing the entire graphic grace of the Far East.
Original cover and back preserved
