Oil painting on panel titled Eendenfamilie aan de waterkant by Constant David Ludovic Artz (1870–1951), created in 1910–1920, in a classical style, Netherlands origin, signed on the left, and sold with a frame; panel size 24×18 cm, overall framed size 40×34 cm, and condition is excellent.

Beautiful work by Constant Artz (1870-1951), 'Duck Family at the Water's Edge'.
Painted panel, the size of the panel is 24x18cm, including the frame 40x34cm.
Signed by 'constant artz' (The painter Constant David Ludovic Artz was born in 1870 in Paris. He is mainly known for his countless water scenes with ducks. Willem Maris was his major influence. He repeatedly depicted the duck motif in various variations. With a lively brushwork and strong light effects, he created his paintings as a particularly keen observer of nature, with detailed duck families in their natural environment. Constant Artz was the son of the Hague School painter D.A.C. Artz. Constant died in 1951 in the Netherlands, in Soest.
The panel is in impeccable condition.
In a beautiful original frame, this has unfortunately sustained some damage, and please note; the frame was added by me to the artwork despite the damages. The frame is included free of charge so that you can hang the artwork immediately upon receipt. The frame is provided as a courtesy and is not considered an integral part of the artwork. Any additional damage to the frame that does not affect the artwork itself will therefore not be accepted as a valid reason to open a claim or cancel the order.
