Unisex gold pendant crafted from a genuine UK Double Sovereign of 1887 (Jubilee Head), in 22 carat gold, total weight about 16 g, mounted in an antique decorative setting with no laboratory report.
Description from the seller
Gold pendant with a British 2 Pound coin – Queen Victoria, 1887 (Double Sovereign, Jubilee Head)
Elegant gold pendant made from an authentic British coin of 2 Pounds (Double Sovereign) minted in 1887, the year of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.
The coin features on the obverse the famous 'Jubilee Head' portrait of Queen Victoria with the legend VICTORIA D G BRITT REG, while on the reverse it depicts Saint George slaying the dragon, an iconic design by Benedetto Pistrucci, with the date 1887 at the bottom.
The coin is original and historic, later mounted as a pendant in a refined decorative setting of late 19th or early 20th-century taste, which enhances its appearance without compromising its readability.
The item presents itself as vintage jewelry, ideal for both coin collectors with mounted coins and enthusiasts of historic gold jewelry.
The input is a dash character, which does not require translation.
