With a numbered and signed ex libris by Yves Sente, this is number 70.
A new group of independence fighters from Cornwall, the Free Cornwall Group, is terrorizing the small town of Saint Corineus. They protest against the ongoing influx of economic migrants and are simultaneously searching for the legendary treasure of King Arthur and his famous sword, Excalibur. Blake is dispatched to dismantle the organization and thwart their leader, the so-called 'Great Druid,' and his sinister plan.
At the same time, Professor Mortimer introduces one of his new revolutionary inventions at the Center of Scientific and Industrial Research in London: a pocket excavator, 'the Mole'. The British press announces that 'the Mole', to test the power of this technological marvel, will be sent to Cornwall. Blake and Mortimer must prevent the group's attacks with the help of an unexpected ally, Colonel Olrik himself! But can you really trust such a 'friend'?
