About the artist
Ciscø was born in 1979 in Hauts-de-France. Passionate about visual arts and self-taught, he began painting at a young age. Today, he reinterprets collectible banknotes, particularly Francs, through iconic and pop culture themes.
The artist adds a unique and exclusive touch to this symbolic note that has become a connection between the past and the present. His nostalgia for the Francs guides him in this artistic theme that he personally cherishes. Moreover, Cisco created a short film featuring this former currency. A video on YouTube: 'Nostalgie des Francs.' Today, his works travel across regions of France and cross European borders. Happy to live a growing artistic passion, Cisco sells worldwide to private collectors and hosts exhibitions in France and abroad (Australia, the United States, Belgium, Morocco) to share his artistic universe.
