Sweet Vandal presents a frontal figure that oscillates between confrontation and tenderness. The face, partially hidden by a pink balaclava with childlike ears, simultaneously evokes protection and threat, anonymity and identity. Above the head, a small yellow halo introduces a subtle irony: holiness and transgression coexist in the same body.
The soft palette—dominated by pink and blue—contrasts with the symbolic charge of the mask, traditionally associated with vandalism, resistance, and clandestine gestures. However, here this iconography is redefined: the vandal ceases to be merely disruptive and takes on a sweet, almost vulnerable dimension. The subject's direct gaze breaks the barrier between artwork and viewer, inviting reflection on social judgments, stereotypes, and the aestheticization of rebellion.
