38 g - A very rare and stunning specimen of Native Gold on Quartz from the historic locality of Brusson, one of Italy’s most famous gold-bearing districts. The piece shows four distinct gold exposures emerging from the white quartz matrix, with the largest crystal measuring 6 × 3 mm.
The gold displays a bright metallic lustre and a naturally irregular crystalline texture, typical of Brusson’s hydrothermal veins. Specimens with multiple visible gold pockets are highly sought after, especially from this classic European locality where mining activity is long ceased.
Origin: Brusson, Aosta Valley, Italy.
