A brief history
The Hermès Creations Conservatory, a source of inspiration for designers, gathers the house's creations from its origins. Virginie Jamin selected a wide range of belt buckles. Some date from the 1930s, others are recent, but each, from the simplest to the most elaborate, stands out for its bold geometry. Composing a square within the square, a journey unfolds, rhythmically guided by lines, shapes, and colors.
According to the Arfon edition Art Squares Dictionary, it is considered quite rare and sought after (last photo).
