Description from the seller
Limoges porcelain cake service in white, with a decorative border featuring a 1cm wide frieze decorated with bouquets of small spring flowers in pink, architectural elements in blue and mint green, a light frieze of white half-daisies on an olive green background, a fine gold line with real gold around the edge, and flat handles.
Each piece bears the stamp AF - La Seynie - Limoges France - for François André, manufacturer and decorator at the Manufacture in 1919. Due to its decoration, which reminds us of Art Deco, we can date this production to the 1920s-1930s.
The Limoges manufacture has existed since the 18th century. It is recognized worldwide for its excellence. Over the years, it has successfully transmitted its ancestral knowledge.
