Born on August 1, 1935, in Utrecht, and passed away on September 4, 2010, in Sneek.
Student of artist John Bévort (1917 – 1996) and artist Cor van Diggelen (1921 – 1989). He also attended the Evening Academy in Utrecht and was a student of artist Henk Bellaard (1896 – 1975).

Peter Brouwer mainly painted flower still lifes, cityscapes, beach scenes, seascapes, and sailing ships.
