Pencil markings on the front free endpaper and the back pastedown endpaper in both volumes. There is a small hole on page 83, and a creased top corner on pages 147/148 and 149/150 in Vol I. Browning and spotting in the endpapers and flyleaves in both volumes. The text is clear, the paper is crisp, and the illustrations are vibrant and in excellent condition, and the binding is tight in both volumes. Overall, a handsome set in very good condition.
