A Japanese stone suiseki shaped like Mount Fuji, measuring 3.5 × 7.5 × 4 cm, in good condition, displayed on its original wooden daiza, dating to the 20th century early WWI.
Description from the seller
This is a Japanese Suiseki (viewing stone) naturally shaped like Mount Fuji, the most iconic symbol of Japan.
The stone is displayed on its original wooden daiza, carefully shaped to fit the stone’s natural contours.
Despite its small size, the stone beautifully captures the dignified silhouette of Mt. Fuji, with gentle slopes and subtle color variations created entirely by nature over time.
Such compact Fuji-shaped Suiseki are especially appreciated for tea rooms, desks, or small display spaces.
Suiseki are traditionally admired for their ability to evoke vast landscapes within a small form, and this piece is a fine example of that aesthetic.
