The Porcelain Duel – Suspended Strike captures the precise moment when the movement stops, just before impact. The figure, inspired by a traditional warrior, is frozen in an intense combat stance, with the sword extended forward, the body leaning, all crafted in an illusion of blue and white porcelain.

The floral motifs, delicately integrated into the surface of the body and clothing, evoke the fragility of ancient Chinese porcelain, contrasting with the extreme tension of the martial gesture. This opposition between contained violence and decorative delicacy constitutes the conceptual core of the work.
