Original board drawing in Indian ink on thick paper, signed and dedicated by Giulio De Vita to Corteggiani for Christmas 1998, 28 by 36 cm, from the Tatiana K. series, titled Hommage à Tatiana K. et a F. Corteggiani.
Description from the seller
A true museum piece! This is an original page offered by Giulio De Vita to Corteggiani for Christmas 1998, with a tribute to a great screenwriter who passed away too soon and to his character Tatiana K. (whose first episode was published in 1998). The page is filled with nods to the character created by Corteggiani and to Corteggiani himself, who appears in the last panel. Also noteworthy is the reference to Yakuza, the series to which De Vita was collaborating at that time as an inker for E. Barison, the series' regular artist (he was also the artist for the last volume of Tatiana K.). All of De Vita's talent is evident through cinematic framing in this homage page to the screenwriter who opened the doors of French comics for him (Corteggiani is also the writer of the first comic directly drawn by De Vita: Les ombres de la lagune in 1999). From the archives of the great screenwriter.
Chinese ink on thick paper. Signed (by the screenwriter) and dedicated. Size: 28x36 cm (drawing).
Shipment starting from January 6
