With a preface by Ste Beuve in very good near fine condition.
First zigzag trips or excursions from a boarding school on vacation in the Swiss Cantons and on the Italian side of the Alps.; pp. (4), 457, (3). It is illustrated by 422 drawings, of which 53 are full page plates. f.t., silogr. by Calame, Girardet, Français, D'Aubigny. These are the ''Voyages en zigzag'

First edition of this second work which, analogously to the previous one, collects the accounts ''from the autographed voyages by Töpffer in 1833 (Voyage à la Grand Chartreuse), 1834 (Voyages à Gênes) and 1842 (Voyage autour du Mont Blanc)'' (Perret).
