Vintage modernist silver ring in 925 sterling silver designed by Niels-Erik From in Denmark, featuring an oval two-stone arrangement with a closed back and an adjustable band; no laboratory report and overall used condition.
Description from the seller
Vintage modernist ring in first-grade silver (925), designed by Niels-Erik From in Denmark.
The ring features a distinctly modernist design and appears visually as a single oval composition, but is technically constructed from two separate stones placed side by side. Due to the closed back, the stone cannot be viewed with light passing through it. The material used for the stone is unknown. Its color appears very dark brown to almost black, depending on the light.
The top of the ring is constructed from a silver frame with a central, raised silver element. The band is open at the bottom, making it adjustable.
There is a deeper scratch visible on the central part of the stone. Otherwise, signs of normal use consistent with the age.
Details:
Top dimensions: 2.9 × 1.8 cm
Width of the ring band at the top: approximately 6 mm.
Ring binder: open and adjustable
Approved with:
Sterling
Denmark
North East From
925S
- The stones in this jewelry may be treated or synthetic in origin. This has not been examined.
