Stilnovo Italian two-light pendant lamp from the 1950s in very good condition, made of steel and glass with two opal glass diffusers and chrome rings, and designed to hang 36 cm from the ceiling with a 27 cm width and 23 cm depth.
Description from the seller
Italian 1960s pendant lamp
Opal glass, chromed metal, and bakelite elements
Elegant pendant lamp Made in Italy, dating from the sixties, characterized by a formal language fully attributable to the great Italian design of the period.
The structure consists of two spherical diffusers made of satin opal glass, with delicate surface treatment that softens the light, creating a warm and diffused illumination. The diffusers are supported by chrome metal rings, which intertwine with a refined dynamic balance, giving the lamp a strong sense of movement and visual lightness.
The caramel-colored bakelite elements (rosette, cups, and lower terminal) introduce a material and chromatic note typical of Italian post-war production, recalling the modernist and spatialist aesthetics that made the design of those years famous.
Due to its construction features, materials, and design quality, the lamp is attributable to the production of Stilnovo, a historic Milanese company founded in 1946, and one of the main protagonists of Italian lighting design of the twentieth century.
Stilnovo is universally recognized for its innovative use of opaline glass, chromed metals, and plastic materials, as well as for its experimental yet always elegant shapes, often in collaboration with renowned designers such as Bruno Gatta, Gaetano Sciolari, and other key figures in Italian design.
This lamp perfectly reflects this philosophy: a functional object that becomes a luminous sculpture, ideal for modern environments, mid-century interiors, eclectic spaces, or historical design collections.
The lamp is in excellent overall condition, with normal signs of age consistent with its age and use, confirming its authenticity.
The glass is intact, the structure solid, and the overall maintains a strong aesthetic and decorative impact.
Electrical system to be verified or updated according to the current regulations of the destination country.

Professional and appropriate packaging, with specific protection for glass speakers.
Traceable shipping across Europe
Maximum care in preparing the neck to ensure safety during transport.
