Painted by the artist Willem F Reinders.
Willem Frederik Reinders was born in Haren (Groningen) in 1881 and died in Eelde (1960). After a short course as a flat decorator at the Academie Minerva, Reinders briefly worked as a house painter. He quickly returned to the academy for training as an artist. In 1918, together with his friend Jan Wiegers, he initiated the founding of the Ver. Groninger Kunstkring De Ploeg. Besides De Ploeg, Reinders was a member of the art-loving society Pictura Groningen. In addition to solo exhibitions, Reinders participated in several group exhibitions of De Ploeg, and his work is included in the collections of several museums.
The work is in good condition and signed bottom right.
Work is in a list that is no longer attractive or well-organized.
