Description from the seller

Very beautiful and antique cup, centerpiece signed 'F. BARBEDIENNE' for Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892), a famous Parisian founder.
It is also stamped with an 'L' under the foot.
Estimated period: second half of the 19th century.
It can serve as a catch-all or a centerpiece.
Object of very good and beautiful craftsmanship with lovely details such as heart-shaped leaves on the handles' wrists. Ferdinand Barbedienne is considered one of the best French founders, if not the best, according to specialists.
In the center of the cut, there is a medallion featuring the head of an ancient Greek woman depicted wearing a laurel crown and a knot at the back of her hair.
Very good condition. Time has taken its toll, with visible traces of oxidation on the numerous photos.
Carefully observe the photos that are part of the description.
Dimensions: 15 x 18 x 24 cm.
Weight: 1.17 kg.
Attention to collectors and enthusiasts of beautiful decorative pieces.
Fast and careful shipping.
