Grand in-4, stitched in leaves under a folded cover; cream slipcase, with a burgundy title piece; (38) leaves, 14 etchings including seven hors-texte, all pages feature gold-engraved decorations, numerous initial letters and capital letters enhanced with purple gouache, portrait of Musset engraved in etching on the cover.
Printed in 350 copies (including 20 on Japan); this one on pure filament Angoumois vellum, half-pressed by hand at the Verger du Puy Moyen mill, signed by the artist.

Good to very good overall condition. Complete copy. Light foxing or signs of aging possible, without severity. Well contrasted and sharp engravings.
