Antique Japanese Wakizashi – Hirazukuri style – Edo period (Shintō era) – Bo-hi – Mumei – professional Japanese polish
Authentic Japanese wakizashi, forged during the Shintō era of the Edo period (circa 1596–1764).

Crafted in Hirazukuri geometry with a Bo-hi groove, this unsigned blade (mumei) reflects the functional elegance typical of the Edo period.

Signature: Mumei (unsigned)
Blade length (Nagasa): 33.1 cm
Curvature (Sori): 0.1 cm
Overall length: 52 cm
Width at base (Motohaba): 3.02 cm
Width near tip (Sakihaba): 2.03 cm
Thickness at base (Motokasane): 0.72 cm
Thickness near tip (Sakikasane): 0.51 cm
