Work statement
In Natural Structures, Ella Suárez explores organic patterns derived from stains, repetitions, and chromatic expansions that emerge from the gesture and the intervention of water on ink. Far from depicting concrete forms, this series constructs living surfaces, where each stroke seems to respond to a natural logic: that of what multiplies, dissolves, groups, or vibrates.

Each work offers a visual reading of the biological or cellular, with stains that disperse like footprints in transformation. The contrast between color and shape creates a visual rhythm that suggests growth, breathing, or contagion. They are surfaces that seem animated by an invisible energy, as if pulsating from within.

Through this work, Suárez transforms painting into a field of resonance where the pictorial blends with the vital. Natural structures is an open series, sensitive to the ways in which matter organizes, expands, and leaves traces.
