Ernest Regnard Leonce Dezentjé (Meester Cornelis, August 17, 1885 – Jakarta, January 12, 1972) was a well-known painter in the Dutch East Indies and later in Indonesia.
His work features expansive vistas with rice fields and volcanoes, flamboyants, but also detailed cityscapes. He came from an Indofamily and was of French-Javanese descent. He was a member of the 'Bataviasche Kunstkring' and, after independence, befriended President Soekarno, who regularly purchased his work, also to give as gifts during state visits.
