Description
'Glide' is a calm, poetic composition that moves between abstraction and free landscape.
The work belongs to the overarching series 'Horizons,' in which Alla Faber explores transitions — between sky and water, movement and stillness, space and inner experience.
A softly shimmering water surface is silently gliding through the open space, an abstracted bird.
The horizon does not appear as a clear line, but as a perceived field — a moment of pause and vastness.
The reduced forms, fine color gradients in blue, gray, and warm light tones, as well as the deliberately subdued depiction of the bird, give the work a timeless, meditative atmosphere.
'Glide' does not refer to an action but to a state — to the effortless hovering in balance between movement and rest.
Recommendation for the interior
This large-format piece is especially suitable for modern, minimalist, and elegant living spaces, lofts, quiet bedrooms, or representative work areas, where it unfolds a sense of spaciousness, lightness, and a quiet, harmonious presence.

About the artist

Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg.
For several years, she has been dedicated to abstract and modern painting, creating large-scale works.
to balance between rest and movement, structure and lightness.

Your preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels, and metal foils – combined in fine, often multilayered compositions.
Images are created through subtle transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections.
not dominate the space but fill it with silent presence

Your artistic work follows the concept 'This is how silence sounds'.
a picturesque exploration of the moment between sound and silence.
In this silence, Faber finds not emptiness but a living force.
The breathing of the light, the whispering of the colors, the gentle pulsating of the space.

Your works invite the viewer to pause and listen to silence –
that state where calm, light, and emotion merge into a harmonious whole.
