On offer is an old fine full sized master violin, made and labeled: "Max Schmelz, Passau 1961". The instrument is ready to play with no cracks, finest boxwood set up and new strings. The violin has one piece back made from beautiful narrow flamed maple with matched sides, neck and scroll; the table is likewise matching of high quality, straight high grained spruce.
