The artwork will be sold with a certificate of authenticity on the photo, which includes the export permit and the museum appraisal from Cernigov, signed by the director, an expert, with the stamp, archive number, and date. (see photo).
biography
Ukrainian Soviet artist, graphic artist. Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. Evdokia Grigorievna Usikova was born on December 25, 1913, in the village of Yankovtsy (Kharkov region). In 1940, she graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where she studied under A. Shovkunenko. In July 1944, Usikova Ye.G. debuted at the Exhibition of works by artists of the federated republics, held in Moscow at the State Museum of Oriental Cultures. From that moment, she was an active participant in republican, all-Union, and foreign art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. FOR EXAMPLE, Usikova worked in the field of easel painting. She was the author of thematic paintings and a master of still life. Major works include: 'Autumn Bouquet' (1945); 'The Deputy' (1949); 'Lesson'; 'To Ilyich' (1960); 'The Blue Dream' (1963); 'Kiev Bridges'; 'Granddaughters' (1965); and others. She died in 1996. The artist's works are exhibited in museums, galleries, and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
