Pabliu Lucero presents the original, single-edition mixed-media work titled Creatrice (2025), a portrait-inspired piece executed with soft pastels on an acrylic base on linen canvas, 90 × 55 cm, signed, in excellent condition, featuring blue, pink, turquoise and multicolour tones, created in Italy and sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Description of the work
This work is created with soft chalks on an acrylic base, a technique that combines the solidity of acrylic paint with the powdery, vibrant delicacy of pastel. The subject, inspired by Mary Magdalene, is reinterpreted as a symbol of female freedom, inner strength, and the power of creative and inspiring energy.
The face, with closed eyes, conveys introspection, peace, and spiritual connection, while the blue and turquoise tones evoke the inner world, water, intuition, and transformation. The symbolic marks drawn on the body and forehead recall a sacred and universal language, linked to creation, memory, and rebirth.
The work invites the viewer to a silent contemplation, where femininity is not depicted as fragility but as a generative, conscious, and free strength capable of creating and regenerating.
