Description from the seller
Superb cut crystal vase with green double overlay, Val Saint Lambert, 1950s–1960s, designed by Charles Graffart.
Elegant thick crystal vase featuring deep, rhythmic cutting work, revealing a stylized vegetal decoration with elongated lines, similar to the so-called 'bamboo' or leafy motifs, characteristic of Val Saint Lambert productions from the mid-20th century.
The emerald green inner layer, visible through transparency, creates strong light contrasts and highlights the precision of the sizes, offering a finish that is both sculptural and highly decorative.
A flagship piece of Belgian crystal glassworks craftsmanship, perfectly illustrating the technical mastery of double-cut crystal, developed under the influence of major designers such as Charles Graffart.
Condition: good overall condition, presence of small discreet stains related to age and use, without shine or cracks.
