Val Saint Lambert - Charles Graffart and René Delvenne - Candlestick 'Griffon' (2) - Crystal - Magnificent & Rare

Magnificent Set of two crystal candlesticks with bird motifs on the base, hallmarked Val Saint Lambert.
These are a pair of Art Deco Val Saint Lambert 'Griffon' model candlesticks.
The candlesticks were made in Belgium around the 1930s as part of the Luxval line.
They feature a combination of clear and frosted (satin) pressed glass, which highlights the detailed design of four mythological griffons on the base.

The candlesticks are made of partially matt and shiny crystal.
The design is attributed to Charles Graffart and René Delvenne.
They are considered collectible pieces of Belgian glass design.
