Description from the seller

Maquette in plaster and wax on a rotating base, depicting the valiant Achilles.
The bust is reinforced internally with plaster.

Achilles, nicknamed swift foot or fast foot, is a hero of Greek mythology, a legendary hero of the Trojan War, and the protagonist of the Iliad.

The wax model is the preliminary stage of bronze casting using the lost wax technique. It was created from a mold of the original, made in the early twentieth century by a historic foundry in Naples, the Chiurazzi foundry.

This foundry produced, in addition to large-scale monuments, reproductions of statues from major museums, and supplied the souvenir market for travelers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the travelers of the Grand Tour.

The packaging will consist of a protected crate and anti-shock materials.
Packaging itself is an element that affects the determination of shipping costs.
