The artist Ben Viegers lived and worked in The Hague from 1938 to 1940, in Bakkum until 1942, in Hilversum until 1943, and thereafter in Nunspeet.
He developed himself and painted landscapes, cityscapes, sea and harbor views, still lifes, flowers, markets, beaches, and dune landscapes.
