A fine vintage bound book in Hetzel publisher's binding, with polychrome decoration on a red background, featuring an ornamental black framing.
Illustrated front cover depicting a globe, scientific instruments, and a portrait of Jules Verne, titled Mistress Branican – Voyages extraordinaires, Hetzel Collection.
Two richly decorated copies, titled 'Jules Verne – Voyages extraordinaires – Mistress Branican', with gilded edges and illustrations.
Golden slices, well present.
Green Guards
Black illustrations within the text, including an engraved frontispiece.
State:
Solid binding, functional hinges.
Visible wear and friction on the caps and corners.
Slightly dulled at the tip.
Healthy interior but yellowed and stained paper (rust spots), consistent with its age.
Golden slices still quite luminous.
