This small brass vase from the Meiji period (1868–1912) or later stands on four elegant legs and features a pair of ring-shaped handles attached to decorative mounts. Despite its compact size of just 7 cm in height, the piece displays refined craftsmanship typical of Meiji metalwork, combining balance, proportion, and subtle detail.
The surface has developed a warm patina over time, enhancing its antique charm and depth of character. The attached rings move freely, adding a tactile and sculptural quality to the design.
Both the vase and its wooden box show minor blemishes, wear, and signs of age, yet remain in good antique condition overall. Please refer to the photos for details.
