Chinese porcelain vase — Famille Rose on turquoise-blue sgraffiato “yunwen” ground
A refined hand-painted porcelain vase, decorated in famille rose enamels over a delicate turquoise-blue sgraffiato “yunwen” (cloud-scroll) ground, featuring an elegant floral composition of chrysanthemums, daisies, and peonies — traditional Chinese symbols of longevity, purity, and prosperity.
The entire surface is finely engraved with the sgraffiato technique, in which the pattern is incised through the glaze to create a subtle texture that shimmers beneath the overglaze enamels.
The interior and base are glazed in a characteristic turquoise tone, with a neatly finished foot rim showing natural firing traces and age wear.
A piece of remarkable craftsmanship and aesthetic harmony, combining refined engraving, balanced enamels, and exquisite color depth.
