Oban 12 years old Special Release 2021 - Natural Cask Strength - 70cl

One of the smallest and oldest distilleries in Scotland, Oban has resisted in the coastal city that bears its name since 1794, often described as the gate between the Highlands and the islands. Pasty, with unmistakeable maritime top notes of crunchy seaweed, crystal clear salt and coarse black pepper on a woody shade. After a while a reminder of sweet spicy sauce is added, while with a drop of water, the light olive oil becomes the top note. The taste is fruity and slightly citrusy, balanced by a pinch of salt in the middle of the palate gives an insistent spiciness.
