Lime is a French artist and a member of the crew Da Mental Vaporz (DMV). He was born in the 1980s and discovered his passion for art during his studies in 1996. Over the years, he has built a long history of work as a graffiti artist. Starting initially with simple murals on highway walls, Lime has since developed a unique and distinctive style that he has refined over the past 15 years. DMV, which stands for 'Da Mental Vaporz,' is a French graffiti crew founded by Bom.K and Iso in 1999 in the suburbs of Paris. The crew consists of ten members, including Bom.K, Blo, Brusk, Dran, Gris1, Iso, Jaw, Kan, Sowat, and Lek. DMV was first recognized for its large-scale murals, painted in the neglected neighborhoods of the southern suburbs of Paris. Their murals featured a wide range of subjects and diverged from traditional graffiti styles, which typically focused on block letters or cartoon characters. The individual works of each DMV artist are unique and distinct, mainly differing in medium, style, and technique. However, when exhibited together, they create a fascinating and stimulating relationship. The name 'Da Mental Vaporz' translates to 'The Vapors of the Psyche,' indicating that the artists are interested in exploring the depths of the personal psyche and making it conscious to the viewer.
