Yeti - SB120 - Size L - Road bicycle - 2025

This is not your typical stock setup. I built this bike from the frame up with one goal: to create the ultimate lightweight trail machine.

The result is a trail bike with 130mm/120mm travel that weighs only 11.8 kg (26 lbs). To put it into perspective, it is almost 1.5 kg lighter than the top-of-the-line builds offered by Yeti from the factory. It climbs like a pure competition XC bike but descends with that unique feel only the Switch Infinity system provides.

All the material is completely new, unridden, and is literally the best you can buy right now.

Why is this setup special: I chose the new Shimano XTR Di2 wireless group (M9250) to achieve the cleanest cockpit possible and instant shifts even under load. But what really makes a difference are the wheels: Shimano XTR carbon wheels. They weigh almost nothing (1157g), which makes the bike accelerate instantly.

Frame: 2026 Yeti SB120 Turq Series (maximum-grade carbon), Size L, Color Lichen.

Suspension: It features the new Fox Factory 34 Float SL at the front. I chose the SL version to save weight without losing stiffness. It has 130mm of travel. At the rear, it is equipped with the Fox Factory Float DPS.

Transmission: Full Shimano XTR Di2 Wireless 12-speed.

Brakes: XTR Race 4-piston (M9220). They are the J-Kit version, mounted with 180mm discs front and rear.

Wheels: Shimano XTR XC Carbon (WH-M9200-B-29).

Telescopic seatpost: 2026 Fox Transfer Factory, 180mm of travel.

Tires: Schwalbe Wicked Will 29x2.35. The perfect balance between grip and rolling speed.
