Rolando Crociani (Livorno 1913-1981) was an artist with a rather shy and solitary temperament. A student of Gino Romiti, he was in love with the truth, a sensitive and modern interpreter of nature who sought his favorite motifs in the Tuscan countryside and along the Tyrrhenian coast. For several years, he lived and worked in Turin before returning to his hometown, where he integrated into the artistic environment.
Member of the Gruppo Labronico, he held several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous national and regional exhibitions, gaining success with the public and critics. In addition to being a landscape painter and animal rights advocate, he was also a portrait artist.
Her works are part of public collections and proven in Italy and abroad.
