Jean-Guy Caumeil, photographer, still alive, from Saint Etienne, France. Creator of the Trident studio.
The author develops a style he describes as minimalist; with little or no decor or accessories. The essential aspect is capturing an emotion through the posture or gaze of the model. Lighting work is crucial for him, as well as the rapport with the model. In this minimalist vein, he began in 2015 a long-term, non-exclusive collaboration with a single model: Sharlyne.
