Diptych in acrylic entitled Sunlit Stillness_04, consisting of two 70 × 50 cm canvases (total 70 × 100 cm), depicting a landscape with crème, green and gold tones, by Andrea Imwiehe in the original edition of 2025, signed on the back, with an authenticity certificate, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Sunlit Stillness
The painting, created using a mixed technique of watercolor and acrylic, depicts birch trunks against an abstracted, green-golden background that evokes a bright forest. The composition and the reduction to a few elements direct the viewer's attention to the characteristic bark of the birches and the play of light and shadow.
The background surface is designed with glazing color gradients and golden surfaces, creating depth and a light, atmospheric effect. Despite the clear structure, the image conveys calmness and an almost meditative silence – a moment of nature observation captured in a simplified form language.
