Dispenser - Opaline glass, chrome-finished metal - Wall-mounted dispenser

Vintage Wall-Mounted Mechanical Soap Dispenser – SAPORIAL – PAT. E. MELLER (c. 1930–1950) Rare authentic vintage industrial soap dispenser, model SAPORIAL, patented by E. Meller, dating from the first half of the 20th century. This is an original wall-mounted mechanical liquid soap dispenser, widely used in the past in hotels, railway carriages, ship cabins, public baths, etc. The dispenser features a solid metal body (nickel-plated / chrome-finished steel) combined with an opal (frosted) glass cylinder. The soap is dispensed by pressing the metal lever/button, which activates the internal mechanical dosing system, delivering a measured amount of liquid soap through the metal nozzle. The back plate is clearly stamped: “SAPORIAL – PAT. E. MELLER – WIEN / Vienne”, confirming the original patented production, associated with Germany / France, and sometimes found in Austria and Switzerland.
