Born in Naples as Antonio Muscariello on March 26, 1944, he spent his childhood in Ischia before moving to Rome in 1962 to pursue a career in fashion.
He worked in the ateliers of Patrick de Barentzen and Giles before starting a successful partnership with Giles that lasted ten years.
In 1967, he won the 'Silver Mask' for haute couture.
He received international recognition, including the 'Singer' award in New York as a young designer and the Pittsburgh award in 1973.
Today, the Rocco Barocco brand is known and exported worldwide, with collections that include clothing, accessories, perfumes, and home goods.
