The 1909 edition is often cited as a reference for understanding the propaganda and representation of the Belgian Congo at the time.

2) Through the Belgian Congo. Travel account from Banana to Katanga by René Dubreucq - Brussels, Belgian Expansion, 1909 - Hardcover - 86 pages + map of the Belgian Congo.
The work highlights the resources and landscapes of Congo, while reflecting the colonial discourses and practices of the time.
