Description from the seller

Three photographs from my private collection by the great photographer Larry Mangino.

LARRY MANGINO
Larry Mangino (Phoenix, Arizona, 1956) is a renowned American photojournalist based in Spain since 1981, whose career is distinguished by documenting the culture and recent history of the country.
He has worked for decades as a staff photographer and editor for the newspaper El Mundo (until 1998) and as a foreign correspondent for international agencies such as Associated Press and The Image Works. His work ranges from current affairs photojournalism (including sports events, fashion, and social conflicts such as ETA terrorism) to large-scale personal projects with significant artistic impact.
Featured Projects
"La piel de toro" / "El toro de Osborne": It is one of their most emblematic works, where they capture the iconography of the Osborne bull in the Spanish landscape. Recently, in 2025, this exhibition was displayed at the Andalusian Center of Photography (CAF) in Almería.
"La Gran Vía de Madrid": A photographic essay documenting the daily life and architecture of this Madrid thoroughfare.
Publications: He is the author of books such as El Toro de Osborne and Imágenes para la Dignidad.
Recognitions and Teaching
Throughout his career, he has received five Fotopress awards and two Fotoprix awards. In addition to his work behind the camera, he has been a professor at prestigious institutions such as EFTI School in Madrid and a speaker at various Spanish universities.
