Micol Forti (Rome 1964), scholar of modern and contemporary art, directs the Contemporary Art Collection of the Vatican Museums.
After the Specialization School and the PhD, he taught Artistic Literature and Museology at La Sapienza University of Rome, focusing on various aspects of 20th-century art and critical thought.
In 2016, she was renewed as a Consultor of the Pontifical Council for Culture and is a member of the Permanent Women's Consultation of the same Dicastery.
She was the curator of the Vatican Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale of Art in 2015 and the executive director of the first Vatican Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale of Art in 2013.
