History and Icon of the Model
The Calatrava is the cornerstone of Patek Philippe's aesthetics, born in 1932 and since then a symbol of classicism and innovation. The reference 3520 was introduced in 1965, advertised at the time as the thinnest waterproof watch in the world. In 1968, the 'D' (Decoratif) variant was created, characterized by the famous Clous de Paris bezel, which gives the model a regal and refined appearance.

The Calatrava 3520D remained in production for over 40 years, until 2008, and the caliber 177 present in this model – introduced in 1977 – represents one of the highest expressions of Swiss ultra-slim watchmaking tradition, with hand-finished details of the highest level.

Technical Features
Case: 18kt gold (750/1000), diameter 32mm excluding crown, lug to lug length 37.5mm, ultra-thin profile of only 5.25mm. Screw-down case back with internal signature, reference number, and serial number.

Dial: immaculate white, black Roman numerals and minute scale, black baton hands; perfect for a sophisticated and timeless look.
Glass: Sapphire in excellent condition.
Corona: original, decorated with the famous Calatrava logo.

Movement: Caliber 177, with 18 rubies, Swiss manufacture Patek Philippe, serial 1370***. Ultra-thin movement, precise and reliable. Fully functional, recently serviced.

Strap: genuine lizard leather, black, new generic, original Patek Philippe 18kt gold buckle, signed and stamped.
