The Work
Moon Over Silence reveals a sleeping metropolis beneath a dramatic sky, dominated by a full moon surrounded by moving clouds. The city stretches as far as the eye can see, dense, luminous, almost suffocating, while the moon asserts its cold and unchanging presence above human activity.
Black and white accentuates the tension between urban turmoil and celestial calm. The clouds seem to open up like a fracture in the sky, letting through a distant light, indifferent to the rhythm of the city. The work evokes solitude in the heart of the crowd, the contrast between cosmic permanence and the ephemeral nature of human lives.

The artist's words
The city never really sleeps.
But above her, the moon keeps watching.
Without noise, without judgment.

About the artist
Rudy Barret (@rudy_barret_photographe) explores urban solitude, suspended time, and the relationship between humans and infinity through symbolic and cinematic compositions.
His visual universe is characterized by an extreme attention to light, the structure of spaces, and silent storytelling, enhanced by precise and sensitive post-processing.
(Photoshop CC & Lightroom)
Each work is conceived as a moment of contemplation, inviting the gaze to leave the city and, for a moment, lose itself in the silence of the sky.
