Ama Kobune Kogo
蜑小舟香合(あまこぶねこうごう)|Jusai 寿斎(じゅさい)

This incense container is shaped in the form of a small boat.
The piece makes use of the natural wooden base, while lacquer is applied to both front side panels and decorated with gold maki-e.

Traces of use are present.
Light wear can be seen on the base and at the tip of the form.

In addition to its function as a kogo, the piece can also be displayed as an object in an interior setting.
