The whisky was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2013, following 18 years of maturation.
Springbank is widely regarded as one of Scotland’s most traditionally produced distilleries. All production takes place on-site in Campbeltown, including floor malting, long fermentation, and partial triple distillation. Due to extremely limited output, older Springbank bottlings have become increasingly sought after by collectors worldwide.
This 18-year-old expression displays the classic Springbank profile:
maritime notes, gentle peat smoke, ripe fruit, an oily texture, and beautifully integrated oak, with a long, complex finish. Bottled at 54.8% ABV, it offers excellent depth, intensity, and ageing potential.
